The Good, The Bad and The Ugly… of being Attractive

The House/Body of the Soul

reflextion

When you look at a house on the outside, do you really know what resides with-in? If the appearance is a mansion on the outside….does that mean you would find ornate furnishings and lavish fixtures? Is there a possibility that it may have tattered curtains or shabby decor? If the house is a tiny and in need of repair building, does that always mean that you will find the same inside? The house is just walls & rooms and does not dictate what is with-in the walls. I have known some tattered small homes to have such comfort & love with-in and some of the biggest & most beautiful on the outside homes to be cold and stiff on the inside. Isn’t this also true with the human body? What you see on the outside is just a shell….just the walls holding it all together. This is true for how you see others but also for how you see yourself. No amount of paint on the outside will change the colors of the inside……no amount of weathering & wear on the outside will change the light of the inside 🙂

JUST FOR TODAY … A Lesson in Empathy

Hālau 'Aha Hūi Lanakila™

empathyOur lives intersect with others all day, everyday. Sometimes we know these other lives well; frequently, though, the points of connection are brief and transient. Who are these people? How might they tell their own stories? What thoughts preoccupy their minds? What joys and troubles are coursing through their feelings?

“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other’s eyes for an instant?”  ~ Henry David Thoreau

If we could catch a glimpse of others’ stories … If you could stand in someone else’s shoes … hear what they hear … see what they see … feel what they feel … would YOU treat them differently?

This is a wonderful combination of elements that send out wonderful energies in all areas of life. It provides the connection of oneself with the soul level to help you on your spiritual journey while enhancing ones understanding of love at a higher level or vibration.

If you have experienced an awakening within yourself, the energies will strengthen your heart & mind’s neural connections. This enables you to integrate the urgings that you may hear coming from your heart so that you can put them into action.

Both the Ruby and Fuchsite help to open & stimulate your psychic awareness. Placing Ruby Fuchsite on the Third-Eye can…

Easy and Simple DIY Body Care Recipes

2-Step, 2-Ingredient Formulas for Natural, DIY Body Care

Conventional body care products like body washes, moisturizers and scented body sprays usually contain dozens of ingredients, many that function only to stabilize, dye, preserve and artificially fragrance the product. A lot of these ingredients care for the formula while it sits on the shelf and do little to care for your body when you ultimately (and repeatedly) apply it to your skin.

Your own freshly made, as you need it, two-ingredient formula of essential oils in a carrier liquid will perform the same basic duties as most of these products. Become your own two-ingredient, two-step natural body care formulator and eliminate all of the superfluous ingredients that you don’t need to pay for, apply to your skin or rinse into the environment.

Seeds for Meditation ~ Lessons from Geese

What an awesome message/lesson from nature 🙂

Hālau 'Aha Hūi Lanakila™

geese1034-800Fact:
As each goose flaps it’s wings, it creates uplift for the bird following.
By flying in a ‘V’ formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if the bird flew alone

Lesson:
People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are traveling quicker and easier, because they are traveling on the thrust of one another.

Fact:
Whenever a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to fly alone and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front.

Lesson:
If people have as much sense as geese, they will stay in formation with those who are headed where we want to go and be willing to accept their help as well as give help to others.

Fact:
When the lead goose gets tired, it rotates back into…
